Create the trip with a name, the dates and where you're going, and you have somewhere to point everybody. Share the invite link in whatever chat the crew already uses and the golfers who tap it land on the same trip, on the same roster, looking at the same plan. No accounts to chase, no spreadsheet to keep in sync, no one asking what time we're off on Saturday for the fourth time.

Somebody always signs up late. An organizer can add that golfer to the roster as a guest, by name, so they're in the games and the standings from day one, and when they do join they claim their spot and keep everything already recorded against their name.

The group chat that knows what you're playing

Every trip has its own chat, with the roster already in it. It is the same needling you'd do in a text thread, except it sits next to the tee times, the games and the scores, so nothing has to be re-explained and nothing gets buried under someone's unrelated photos. Mention a golfer to get their attention, react to the line of the week, and let the trip do the rest.

Because the chat belongs to the trip, it is also where the trip tells you things: a game finishing, money changing hands, a round being posted. Plan golf trips with friends and the running commentary ends up being the record of the week.

Every round and photo lands in one place

Rounds played on the trip pool onto the trip. Everybody logs their own, tags who they played with, and the trip collects them — courses, dates, scores where people kept them. Photos go into the trip album rather than four camera rolls, so the par-three everyone stopped to shoot is still findable in February.

Nothing is trapped there either. A round you play on the trip is still your round: it counts on your own passport, toward your courses played and toward whatever lists you're chasing. The trip is a lens on the week, not a separate app.

Games, standings and Settle Up

The golf trip tracker part is the bit that usually falls apart on the drive home. Set up the games your crew actually plays — the two-man matches, the skins, the day's side bets, a full Ryder Cup style team competition across the week — and the app keeps the running total for every golfer as scores come in.

At the end, Settle Up turns all of it into one list of who pays who. No one is reconstructing Thursday's press from memory in an airport bar, and the golfer who sat a session out is not on the hook for it.

The recap card for the group chat

When the trip ends it gets a card: the crew, the courses, what happened, rendered as an image built to be shared. It is the natural last message in the thread, and it's the one people screenshot a year later when somebody claims they won.

What the trip leaves behind

A group golf trip app is only worth the setup if the record outlives the week. Every course the trip took you to stays on your own map and in your own totals afterwards — that's the golf course tracker side of the app, and the two halves feed each other.
